A MAP CHARTING LIVERPOOL’S JOURNEY THROUGH TO THE FINAL OF ThE 2023 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL IN PARIS.

THE BRIEF
Liverpool FC (in combination with their long standing partner Xpedia) wanted a map that plotted their journey through the group stages and knock out rounds of the Champions League as they sought to get to their second final in 4 years under Jurgen Klopp.
THE SKETCH
I was tasked with researching key aspects of each leg of the Champions League journey, from key figures and landmarks in Liverpool to as far away as Milan in Italy.
I decided to capture the journey through the eyes of some fans driving their way around Europe to follow their beloved reds.
THE FINAL PIECE
The final piece gained a great response on Liverpool FC’s social media channel with many thousands of interactions and comments as fans relived their journey to that point (and then beyond!).
